Michel Berger and France Gall

Michel Berger and France Gall

LOULOU DAMOUR is found all over the world - in the present time and in days gone by.

In the 70s, I grow up with their music, the pop french music and ye-ye happy songs. We all loved listening to their songs and watching their love for each other grow stronger as the years passed.

Michel Berger was one of the most popular French singer-songwriters of the 1970s and 1980s. France Gall was a well known French ye-ye singer who started her singing career very young hitting the top of the French charts at age 17.

The two started collaborating in 1973, and in 1974 Gall decided she wanted only Michel to write songs for her. "It will be him and nobody else", she exclaimed.

This musical collaboration quickly led to a love connection and marriage in 1976, followed by a higher level of musical success together than either had experienced alone.
